Upon arrival in Noosa i was treated to a special birthday dinner at the very lovely Bistro C in Noosa centre, by my wonderful wife Tanya. Fantastic menu on and right on the beach too.

Noosa is the gateway to Fraser Island so we are here for a week. We stayed in Noosaville just outside the main town, it’s a little quieter with the usual Australian sprinkling of great food, outdoor activities and boutique shops, should you fancy.

Even though there are tons of activities here, Just strolling around this place and looking /learning about the area, chatting to local folk is entertainment enough. There is some great surf here, but a lot of teeth in the water which, does not appeal to me or the kids.

Noosa Heads, Fairy Pools however, is an oasis of tidal pools that can be great for exploring and water fun. So a little trek through the Noosa Heads National Park and we were there. The park contains a lot of Eucalyptus trees, which, the Koala bear loves. The bears can be seen in the ares but despite getting a sore neck from looking up we unfortunately didn’t see any 😦
