Today we went for a snorkel off Shark Cove. A semi enclosed area teeming with life. We headed out and were soon greeted by all kinds of reef fish, it was lovely. As we crossed over a drop off to peer under looking for life we came across a baby White Tip Shark sleeping under the ledge. It was probably about 4-5ft in length. The kids were buzzing with excitement as was I. This is their first wild shark encounter; pretty exciting stuff I can tell you. It transpires that Shark Cove is often used as a natural shark nursery. Possibly hence the name.

We didn’t get any pictures of the shark or fish there, but hey. One for the memory bank.
