Picked up the camper from the outskirts of San Francisco and started the drive in to Stanislaus Forest to begin our journey through Yosemite National Park to Sequoia National Park. The forest trip is a week long before heading back to the coast and driving up to San Francisco.

The camper is pretty cool. Proper RV style with a throaty and thirsty V8 to haul it around! kids love it, obviously they are now asking when we can have one. More later on RV size, as i have been educated.

The campgrounds within the whole forest areas, are fairly basic with no hook ups for the van or signal to map anything out, you really do feel like you are in the middle of the wilderness. The basics are there like toilets, water oh and a Bear proof box to store all food in at night..
